History Teacher - Independent School - Colchester
Our client is looking for a History Teacher to join a high-performing independent school in Colchester. This is a full-time, permanent post starting in January, teaching across KS3–KS5 (GCSE and A-Level History).
• History Teacher required on a full-time basis
• Independent school with excellent academic standards
• Well-resourced Humanities faculty with strong subject leadership

The successful History Teacher will become part of a thriving Humanities department with modern teaching spaces, digital archives and a strong academic enrichment culture. History is a popular option at both GCSE and A-Level, with consistently high outcomes and excellent student engagement. Behaviour is excellent and staff benefit from a highly supportive leadership structure.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified History Teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Strong experience at GCSE and A-Level
• Passion for historical enquiry and debate
• Proactive, organised and enthusiastic
• Legal right to work within the UK
