Our client is entering a new era — returning to independent, vet-led ownership — and there is a real sense of momentum, pride and energy around the reopening of this much-loved local hospital. With a loyal client base already eager to walk back through the doors, this is a rare opportunity to be part of something that feels both established and brand new at the same time.
This is a large hospital site with excellent transport links, making it easily accessible from across London and the surrounding areas. You'll be supported by an experienced, long-standing team who are deeply invested in the practice and its future. Alongside a strong RVN and support team, you'll never feel like you're carrying cases alone — collaboration and open discussion are actively encouraged.
One of the things that really stands out here is the clinical freedom. If you have a particular area of interest, you'll be encouraged to develop it. If there's equipment you need to deliver the highest standards of care, the group is genuinely open to investing. This is a vet-led environment where your clinical voice matters.
Across the wider independent group, there is an impressive network of certificate-holding vets with interests spanning soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, exotics, oncology and more. That means real case discussion, mentorship and shared expertise — not just in theory, but in day-to-day practice.

The founders are passionate about creating opportunities for their vets, whether that's through enhanced CPD packages, certificate funding, or internal career progression. This is a full-time role built around work-life balance, with a standard four-day working week. The weekend commitment is light, with a small share of Saturdays and no out-of-hours or on-call requirement.
