Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our network of welcoming schools across Bristol . We are looking for candidates who are passionate about education and want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Whether your experience is within Primary, Secondary, or Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings , we have a range of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and roles that could lead to permanent positions.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, confidence, and development while working alongside teachers and wider school teams.

Your responsibilities may include:

✨ Supporting pupils across Primary, Secondary, or SEN settings
✨ Providing 1:1 and small group support to students
✨ Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
✨ Supporting pupils with additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and complex needs
✨ Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
✨ Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

We are looking for candidates who:

✔ Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
✔ Are passionate about supporting learning and development
✔ Have strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Are patient, reliable, and adaptable
✔ Have experience supporting SEN pupils or a willingness to develop within SEND settings
