Archer Resourcing is representing a confidential veterinary client in Truro for a locum veterinary surgeon - cornwall. The role is based in a Cornish small animal clinic with a friendly, down-to-earth team. The rota is coastal block booking with consults, routine surgery and no routine OOH.
Practice profile
Key responsibilities
- Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
- Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
- Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
- Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture
Requirements
- MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
- Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
- A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
- Availability for agreed locum dates and confidence working in a new practice environment
