Salary: £150-£200 per day DOE

About the Role:

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach your specialist subject at Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of scientific enquiry
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel challenged and supported
• Assess, monitor and support student progress through effective feedback and targeted intervention
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and drive outstanding outcomes
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities, STEM activities and extracurricular programmes

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September 2026
• A degree in Science or a related subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
• A genuine passion for teaching and learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• High expectations of student achievement, behaviour and personal development
• A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development
