Rough Sleeper Accommodation Programme (RSAP) Bed & Breakfast Support Worker (B&B) (G5 £29,064 - £32,061)

We are looking for a caring and motivated RSAP B&B Support Worker to support single people and families living in temporary accommodation, including hotels and nightly-rate properties.
This is a rewarding frontline role where you will work directly with customers during a challenging period in their lives. You will provide practical support, encouragement and guidance to help people feel safer, build confidence and progress towards longer-term housing.
Working with a small caseload, you will build meaningful relationships and provide responsive, person-centred support. You will be part of a supportive team, with guidance from senior colleagues and access to partner organisations such as Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, the Probation Service and the voluntary sector.
What you will be doing:
• Providing face-to-face, person-centred support to customers with a range of needs
• Helping customers access housing, health, wellbeing and community services
• Supporting people to attend appointments and work towards agreed goals
• Contributing to assessments and support plans
• Building strong working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations
• Producing and maintaining clear, accurate and contemporaneous records in line with organisational standards, recognising that records may be required for safeguarding processes or legal proceedings
