Accountant
Temporary, Full-time
We are delighted to be working with this client as they look to add an Accountant to their Finance team on a fixed term contract until Feb 2027.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and wider team with the day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial activities. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting period of expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Check and post manufacturing hours and stock transactions.
- Complete monthly stock reconciliations and cost of sales journals.
- Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts and complete bank reconciliations (GBP & USD).
- Report on gross margins and NCR costs.
- Ensure accurate electronic filing of financial documents.
- Support with month-end close and year-end audit preparation.
- Provide cover across the sales and purchase ledger as required.
- Assist with incoming accounts queries and calls.
