We're excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and motivated Mental Health Nurse or Practitioner to join our expanding Community CAMHS team at Sheffield Children's.

You'll work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality assessments, evidence-based interventions, and group work to children and young people experiencing mental health challenges. You will be based at either the Becton Centre or Centenary House site as part of a collaborative, skilled, and supportive team.

About You: You are a qualified RMN / RN (Mental Health), Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with:

• Significant post-registration experience in a CAMHS or mental health setting
• Post-registration clinical training relevant to CAMHS
• Mentorship/Teaching & Assessing qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent)
• A desire to help improve young people's lives

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage your own caseload, delivering direct, goal-based interventions
• Work autonomously and collaboratively across clinical, home, and community settings
• Provide holistic, evidence-based care in collaboration with CAMHS, education, and social care partners
• Contribute to daily MDT huddles and team development
• Participate in supervision and training opportunities to enhance your skills

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
Essential

• RMN / RN (Mental Health), Occupational Health Therapist, Social Worker
• Post registration clinical training relevant to CAMHS / Mental Health
• Teaching and Assessing ENB 998 / Mentorship or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills
Essential

• Broad knowledge and application of assessments and a range of therapeutic interventions deliverable to young people and families
• Knowledge of a legal frameworks and practice relevant to CAMHS
• Application of Health, Safety and Risk Management policies.

Desirable

• Research and audit experience
• Knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and its application
