A global real estate group is currently seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join their extremely prestigious tax team based in London. This position will have one direct report who will be responsible for a large proportion of the number crunching, freeing the successful candidate up to look at the higher level compliance and reporting processes on top of the advisory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of UK VAT compliance
- Lead indirect tax audits for the UK
- Review the VAT compliance and reporting processes, advising on streamlining and improvements
- Answering group queries as required
Requirements:
- CTA/AIIT/ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Proven experience of UK VAT compliance within property/construction
- Experience working within a REIT is beneficial
- Confident and able to work well within a team
