Looking for a part-time HR role where you can genuinely make a difference?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing North Devon Marketing agency that’s looking for an experienced HR Manager to become a trusted member of its team. This is a standalone role, giving you the opportunity to shape the people agenda, influence business decisions and create an environment where employees can thrive.

The Role

Working three days a week, you’ll take ownership of the HR function, providing professional, commercially focused support across the business. From recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management and policy development, you’ll be involved in every stage of the employee journey.

You’ll work closely with managers, offering advice and guidance while ensuring the business remains compliant with employment legislation and HR best practice. You’ll also play an important role in developing a positive culture where people feel supported, engaged and motivated to do their best work.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working independently, is confident making decisions and takes pride in building trusted relationships across every level of an organisation.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in a broad, generalist HR role.
• Is confident managing employee relations matters from start to finish.
• Has a sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Enjoys supporting managers and helping them get the best from their teams.
• Has experience recruiting and onboarding new employees.
• Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Can work independently while becoming a trusted adviser to the leadership team.
• Communicates with confidence, empathy and professionalism.
• Holds a CIPD qualification or has equivalent practical HR experience.
