Contract Type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Shift Times: 06:30 – 14:00 or 11:30 – 19:00
Aramark UK is recruiting a General Assistant to join our Defence team at Redford Barracks . This is a permanent full-time role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll mainly work front-of-house, supporting day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages, operating tills, keeping dining areas clean, and assisting both front and back of house. You’ll deliver excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

What you’ll do:
- Serve food and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Operate tills and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas
- Support stock rotation and replenishment
- Always uphold health and safety standards
What we’re looking for:
- Strong work ethic
- Strong skills working within a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high volume customers is desirable (training provided)
- Proficient level of spoken English
- Eligible to work in the UK and have resided for 3+ years (security clearance required)
