Curriculum Lead of Physics - Astonishing School in Derby...
The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed schoothl is looking to appoint a new Curriculum Lead of Physics to join their Physics department. Physics is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the school with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Curriculum Lead of Physics looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational Curriculum Lead of Physics looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate might be looking to develop further.

The successful Curriculum Lead of Physics will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Physics. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.

The school is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Physics and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2020) graded the school as Ofsted rated ‘Good’.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Physics or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this Curriculum Lead of Physics position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
