Art Teacher - Excellent and Creative School in Bath
We are currently seeking an inspiring, innovative and highly committed Art Teacher to join an excellent and creatively driven secondary school in Bath. This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026, offering an outstanding opportunity to teach in a school with a strong artistic culture and a history of exceptional student outcomes.

About the Role
• Teaching Art across KS3–KS4 (KS5 depending on experience)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity
• Supporting students with coursework, portfolio development and exam projects
• Contributing to after-school clubs, exhibitions and creative events
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
• Encouraging experimentation, skill-building and personal expression
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and presentation
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Art, Fine Art or related creative field
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong practical and artistic skills across multiple media
• Ability to inspire students of all abilities
• Strong organisational and communication skills
Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS.
