Help shape the future of a national charity changing lives through volunteeringWho we areAt Volunteering Matters, we believe volunteering has the power to strengthen communities, reduce isolation and create lasting social change.For more than 60 years, we’ve brought people together across the UK through volunteering and social action, supporting people of all ages to build connections, confidence and stronger communities.We are now looking for a new Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees at an exciting time for the organisation as we deliver our ambitious 2025–2030 strategy.This is an opportunity to use your financial expertise to help guide a respected national charity, influence strategic decision-making and support meaningful impact across communities throughout the UK.Why this role mattersAs Treasurer, you will play a vital role in helping ensure the long-term sustainability, resilience and good governance of the charity.You’ll work closely with our Chair, Chief Executive Officer, Board and Finance team to provide financial oversight, strategic support and constructive challenge, helping us make informed decisions that maximise our impact.This is more than a governance role.
