Our client, a reputable and well-established Car Dealership Group operating across London, Kent, and Surrey for over 70 years, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated Mechanical Workshop team in Croydon. Benefits of a Vehicle Technician: - Basic salary approximately £36,000, with potential on-target earnings of £42,000+- Monday to Friday working hours, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend work

- Supportive and professional working environment that values staff contributions Duties of a Vehicle Technician: - Carry out routine servicing, including checks and maintenance following manufacturer standards
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components accurately and efficiently
- Provide accurate repair time estimates and maintain detailed service and repair records
- Diagnose vehicle issues using manufacturer diagnostic procedures
- Test vehicle systems post-repair to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Liaise with Service Reception to advise on required repairs and work completion times
- Ensure all repairs are conducted to the highest industry standards and comply with manufacturer guidelines Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: - Minimum of two years’ experience working within a main dealership environment or equivalent automotive setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a track record of quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team as a Vehicle Technician
- Ambition to further develop skills and progress within the automotive industry
