Protocol Education is working closely with a supportive and inclusive primary school in BS4 that is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from October.
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them build confidence, develop independence and engage positively with school life.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties
- Help pupils regulate emotions and engage with classroom learning
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
