Duties and responsibilities
Ruby Sparrow is an independent creative lifestyle and sustainable fashion brand based in Liverpool, celebrating slow fashion, creativity and conscious living. The brand specialises in thoughtfully curated clothing, accessories and handcrafted products, with a focus on sustainability, individuality and artisan craftsmanship. As Ruby Sparrow continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic student to support a focused brand development and digital marketing project over a 100-hour internship. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder to strengthen the brand's online presence, improve digital marketing and support future business growth. Key responsibilities may include: Creating engaging content for Instagram, Pinterest and other digital platforms. Assisting with product photography, styling and visual content creation .Supporting the optimisation of Etsy product listings, including product s and SEO. Researching new wholesale, retail and collaboration opportunities. Creating marketing materials using Canva. Providing recommendations to strengthen Ruby Sparrow's online presence and customer engagement. This project-based internship offers an excellent opportunity for a student interested in marketing, branding, fashion, ecommerce or entrepreneurship to gain practical experience within a growing independent creative business. Throughout the 100-hour placement, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop practical marketing skills and complete a defined project that will have a lasting impact on the business.

Skills and experience
We are looking for a creative, motivated and organised student who is interested in branding, digital marketing and supporting the growth of an independent creative business. This project-based internship is ideal for a Level 5 or Level 6 undergraduate looking to gain practical experience while making a meaningful contribution over a 100-hour placement. Essential skills and qualities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time management skills.Creativity and an eye for branding and visual presentation.A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and manage tasks. Good attention to detail. Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar software. An interest in digital marketing, social media and e-commerce. Desirable skills:Experience using Canva or similar design software. Experience creating content for Instagram, Pinterest or TikTok .Basic photography or video editing skills.An interest in sustainable fashion, creative businesses or entrepreneurship.Knowledge of Etsy or other e-commerce platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.Suitable degree subjects: MarketingDigital MarketingBusiness ManagementFashion Marketing Graphic DesignMedia & CommunicationsPhotographyCreative IndustriesEntrepreneurshipPublic Relations
