Position: Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £110 per day
Contract: Long-Term Ongoing (until the end of the academic year)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Manchester.
This full-time role is available for an immediate start and will continue on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
The Role
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of EYFS lessons and activities.
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development.
- Encouraging children's social, emotional and educational progress.
- Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining a stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting children with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and play-based learning.
- Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
Requirements
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification .
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- A positive, caring and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
