Join a leading global US law firm and play a key role in driving Business Development across its highly regarded Private Equity practice. We’re seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Business Development Manager who can manage competing priorities, work effectively across the wider team and respond with agility to changing demands and opportunities.

Senior Business Development Manager – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and deliver business and client development plans with practice leaders and global teams, focused on target clients, growth and relationships
- Strengthen client relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Partner with lawyers and global BD teams on client and target development
- Provide market, industry and competitor insight to shape BD strategy
- Lead pitches, proposals and RFPs from strategy through to submission
- Support new business activity, including fee proposals, pitch preparation and follow-up
- Maintain BD materials and client intelligence, sharing best practice across teams
- Lead profile-raising activity, including events, conferences, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, awards and league tables
- Partner with London and global marketing and communications teams on campaigns and client initiatives
- Manage complex projects and competing priorities across regional and global teams
- Support BD training and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team
Senior Business Development Manager – What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years’ Business Development experienced gained within a law firm
- A confident leader, creative and flexible in managing workload and team’s priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrates initiative by continuously looking for areas to improve and implement positive change
- Quickly able to establish credibility with lead partners and key stakeholders
