The Role
As a Psychology Graduate, you may work as a:
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- SEMH Support Assistant
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- Learning Mentor
- Inclusion Support Assistant
- Pastoral Support Assistant
- Student Wellbeing Mentor
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Working with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs and additional learning needs.
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Helping students build confidence, resilience and independence.
- Assisting teachers with classroom learning and interventions.
- Working alongside pastoral, safeguarding and SEND teams.
- Building positive relationships that improve engagement and outcomes.
