Reporting To: Scheduling Manager / Project Director

About CTS Group

CTS Group is a leading international design and build contractor specialising in the delivery of mission-critical data centre facilities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). We combine engineering excellence, innovation, and digital expertise to deliver high-performance, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients.

From design and engineering through construction and commissioning, CTS delivers some of the most advanced data centre facilities in the world.

As our UK project portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Scheduler to join one of our flagship data centre projects in Middlesbrough.

The Role

The Scheduler plays a vital role in supporting the successful planning and delivery of complex data centre construction projects. Working closely with the Project Director, Scheduling Manager, Construction Managers, Design teams, Commercial teams, Commissioning teams, and subcontractors, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes to ensure key milestones and delivery objectives are achieved.

This role is ideal for an organised and analytical planning professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to contribute to the successful delivery of world-class mission-critical infrastructure.

You will be responsible for providing schedule visibility across all project disciplines, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting project teams in maintaining programme certainty throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Gather programme updates from construction, design, procurement, commissioning, and subcontractor teams.

  • Track and analyse progress against key milestones, deliverables, and project objectives.

  • Produce weekly and monthly programme reports, dashboards, and planning updates.

  • Highlight schedule deviations and support the development of recovery plans where required.

  • Support earned value analysis, progress measurement, and forecasting activities.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Design Managers, Commercial teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.

  • Attend planning meetings, coordination sessions, and project reviews.

  • Ensure timely communication of programme changes, risks, and critical activities.

  • Support subcontractors and project teams in understanding programme requirements and delivery expectations.

  • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions to improve project performance and programme alignment.

Risk Management & Programme Control

  • Identify potential scheduling risks, constraints, and opportunities.

  • Assist in developing mitigation strategies and recovery programmes to minimise project impacts.

  • Monitor procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning activities against planned schedules.

  • Support change management processes by evaluating programme impacts and updating schedules accordingly.

  • Maintain programme integrity and ensure planning information is accurate and up to date.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support the implementation of CTS planning standards, procedures, and best practices.

  • Assist in the development of programme templates, reporting tools, and scheduling methodologies.

  • Contribute to lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Promote the use of data-driven planning and project controls across the project team.
