Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest, East London
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Pay: £93-£110 per day (PAYE), dependent on working hours

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Waltham Forest from 1st September 2026 . This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, or anyone looking to build a rewarding career within education.
The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Work on a one-to-one basis and with small intervention groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Help to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be available to work full-time from 1st September 2026
- Hold a degree in any subject
- Have previous experience working within a UK school setting
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Be eligible to work in the UK
