Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is supporting schools across Torfaen to recruit compassionate Behaviour Support Teachers who can build positive relationships with pupils who need additional guidance both inside and outside the classroom.

This role is about far more than behaviour management. It's about understanding the reasons behind behaviour, creating trust and helping pupils re-engage with learning in a safe and supportive environment.

We're looking for someone who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience supporting pupils with behavioural or additional learning needs.
* Remains calm under pressure.
* Builds trust quickly.
* Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
* Two recent professional references.
