Are you looking for a Junior - Intermediate level Estimator role where you can have real autonomy, make the role your own and grow with a family-run company? Join a well-established business where you will have the freedom to manage your own work, make key decisions and take ownership of your projects, whilst being part of a close-knit company that genuinely values its staff.
This recession-proof business manufacturers a variety of products across the UK, working within specialist industries and building a strong reputation for quality and bespoke work. The successful applicant will join as an Estimator, taking ownership of the estimating process with the opportunity to shape the role around their own strengths and ideas. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, giving you the autonomy to manage your workload and make a real impact within a growing family-run business.
This Estimator role will include:
- Estimator role
- Taking ownership of estimates from enquiry
- Producing accurate and competitive quotations
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and customer requirements
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Using the CRM
- On site in Reading
The successful Estimator will have:
- Background as an Estimator / Technical Estimator / Project Estimator or similar
- Experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Live commutable to Reading
