We currently have an opportunity with a FTSE-250 technology business who are looking for a Group VAT Accountant. This is a rare opportunity within a highly sought after company, situated within a small but respected tax team. You will gain insight to the inner workings of the group along with fantastic international exposure.
Ideally the business is looking to hire someone quickly, so if you’re immediately available or on a short notice period it would be beneficial. Longer notices are still considered.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of UK VAT computations
- Preparation of intrastate reports and EC sales list returns
- The go-to person for all VAT related queries
- End-to-end management of the VAT process, identifying possible areas for improvement
- Answering group queries on VAT
Requirement:
- Must be a qualified accountant. ACCA/ACA, tax qualifications will be a plus
- Expert with excel
- Excellent communication skills, confident discussing with senior team members
- ERP system experience such as Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial
- Available at short notice
