We’re working with a global, tech-led business with offices worldwide who are looking for an experienced Office Manager to provide ad-hoc, on-site support in their London office. This Office Manager role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person on the ground and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This Office Manager position will be required on an ad-hoc basis, covering the three days when the team is in the office, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Core hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm.
The Office Manager role:
Acting as the on-site Office Manager, you’ll ensure the workplace runs seamlessly in the absence of the permanent lead. This is a hands-on Office Manager role, combining traditional office management with day-to-day oversight of the workspace. Responsibilities include maintaining meeting rooms and shared spaces, liaising with front-of-house, cleaning and maintenance teams, supporting employees with any office-related needs, and stepping in to handle basic upkeep (e.g. tidying spaces, resetting rooms, clearing areas as needed).
You’ll have access to clear internal processes and ongoing support from the global team, enabling you to succeed as an Office Manager in a well-structured environment.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in a service-driven, customer or client-facing role (ideally as an Office Manager or similar)
- A proactive, “muck-in” attitude with strong attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable and people-focused
- Highly reliable and able to work independently on-site
- Comfortable following processes and liaising with remote teams
