You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with key stakeholders across your assigned business area. This includes stakeholder engagement, recruitment strategy and managing third-party suppliers. You’ll work closely with your Direct Sourcing colleagues, to attract and engage talented candidates for BDO.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes while directly influencing strategic and innovative resourcing solutions that support business priorities and long-term hiring needs.

You'll be someone with:

• Prior experience in an in-house talent acquisition role either within professional services or another regulated sector such as financial services
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• The ability to constructively challenge, influence others and support positive change while maintaining strong relationships.
• Good business acumen and commercial understanding, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively, make sound decisions and support positive outcomes.
• An up-to-date understanding of employment law and how it applies to resourcing and recruitment.
• Confidence using data to support decisions, provide insight and influence outcomes with stakeholders.
