Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioners to join settings across Sheffield . We are looking for individuals who can make learning enjoyable, recognise the different ways young children develop, and create meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity and independence.

As Early Years Practitioner, you will be able to contribute in children's early development through purposeful play and structured activities, supporting their communication, social interaction, physical development, and readiness for future learning.

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:

* Plan age-appropriate activities that combine learning with purposeful play
* Encourage early communication and language through stories, conversations, and interactive tasks
* Monitor children's development and contribute observations to learning records
* Support independence by involving children in routines and age-appropriate choices
* Organise creative and sensory experiences that stimulate curiosity
* Foster positive relationships and a secure environment for every child

Early Years Practitioner Requirements:

* Experience caring for or educating young children in an Early Years environment is desirable
* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Confidence delivering activities suited to different developmental stages
* Ability to observe children and recognise when additional support may be required
* Positive communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
