Salary : £28,641 - £29,307.20 per year
Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role:
As a Toddler Room Leader, you’ll lead and support a team of practitioners and apprentices, helping to create an enabling and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
• Supervise and lead a team of practitioners and apprentices within your room.
• Support and develop your team, identifying knowledge gaps and working with the Nursery Manager to provide appropriate training.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, up to date and completed to the required standard.
• Participate in and, where appropriate, lead staff training, meetings, workshops and open days.
• Ensure your key children are encouraged and supported to flourish within a nurturing, stimulating environment.
• Create outstanding play and learning experiences that support children’s development.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding within the nursery.
• Report any safeguarding concerns or breaches of policy immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Essential
• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• At least 1 year’s experience working in a day nursery with children under 2.
• Experience supporting or leading other practitioners.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and education.
• A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
