Due to significant service investment we are looking for enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our friendly Children's Therapy team in Worcestershire. The successful candidates will be working alongside a dynamic team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and Specialist Play Nursery Nurses providing a community service to children and young people with a variety of needs. The post holders would be based at one of our three bases (located in Kidderminster, Worcester or Bromsgrove) and will be required to travel across the county. The service works closely with mainstream and special schools, child development centres and family hubs as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure childrens needs are identified and supported across the system. It is an exciting time of service development whilst we move towards implementing the balanced system across therapy services and a link therapy model. We are a fantastic team offering a variety of opportunities for learning, CPD, multi-disciplinary working and have a strong focus on supervision. Main duties of the job
This exciting role involves being a key member of the Children's Occupational Therapy leadership and clinical team helping to shape the link therapy model for OT. You will oversee projects and quality improvement initiatives to design and embed support at a universal, targeted and specialist level within the service and schools. You will sit within the community OT team providing specialist assessments, interventions and implementing effective outcome measures. You will have responsibility for the clinical leadership of the OT team supporting with clinical supervision, training, service development and embedding clinical pathways. About us

- Documented evidence of continuing professional development.
- Supervision, appraisal and line management of junior staff and support staff.
- 6 years post registration experience including at least 2 years within defined speciality.
- Supervision of students at degree and post graduate levels.
- Leadership and 1st Line management experience.
- Experience of audit procedures in an area of speciality at band 6.
Essential
- Diploma/degree in OT.
- Fieldwork educator qualification.
- State registration with HPC.
- Evidence of Post graduate training relevant to specialist job role.
- Completion of specialist courses relevant to job role and client group.
