- Provide legal advice on rural property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to rural and agricultural matters.
- Advise clients on land use, planning, and environmental regulations affecting rural properties.
- Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of legal services.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to provide comprehensive legal support.
- Stay updated on changes in rural and agricultural law to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted legal advisor.
- Support business development activities by contributing to marketing initiatives and client events.
- A qualified solicitor in Scotland, with 3 to 6 years rural or commercial property experience.
- Experienced in property law matters, ideally within rural property, real estate or land transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
- Competitive salary ranging from £62,000 to £70,000.
