Join us and help shape healthier futures by supporting innovative projects that reduce health inequalities and improve access to vital services.
Reimagine the possibilities.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator within our Healthy Behaviours Team, you will play a key role in helping Suffolk residents live healthier lives by improving access to the NHS Health Check programme for those who stand to benefit most. Working closely with communities, partners and healthcare providers, you will use data and local intelligence to identify under-served groups and areas where engagement can be strengthened. You will help design and deliver tailored approaches that break down barriers to participation, build trust and improve health outcomes. From supporting targeted approaches to identify people at higher risk of developing health conditions, to evaluating impact and sharing best practice across the system, you will contribute to meaningful, evidence-led work that reduces health inequalities and ensures preventative services reach those at greatest risk. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while working collaboratively across Suffolk's public health system to create lasting, sustainable improvement.
You will need
We're looking for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for Suffolk residents and enjoys working collaboratively with others.
We hope you'll bring:
- experience of supporting, coordinating or delivering projects and initiatives
- strong communication skills and the confidence to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- experience of using data and information to identify needs, monitor progress and inform decision-making
- the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- good problem-solving skills and an evidence-based approach to your work
- an understanding of partnership working and co-producing solutions with colleagues and communities.
You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (JPP), which you can find in the ‘How to apply’ section towards the bottom of this advert.
