Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator within our Healthy Behaviours Team, you will play a key role in helping Suffolk residents live healthier lives by improving access to the NHS Health Check programme for those who stand to benefit most. Working closely with communities, partners and healthcare providers, you will use data and local intelligence to identify under-served groups and areas where engagement can be strengthened. You will help design and deliver tailored approaches that break down barriers to participation, build trust and improve health outcomes.
From supporting targeted approaches to identify people at higher risk of developing health conditions, to evaluating impact and sharing best practice across the system, you will contribute to meaningful, evidence-led work that reduces health inequalities and ensures preventative services reach those at greatest risk. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while working collaboratively across Suffolk's public health system to create lasting, sustainable improvement.

The Healthy Behaviours Team is part of Suffolk County Council's Public Health, Communities and Public Safety Directorate. Our ambition is simple: Healthier People, Healthier Places and Healthier Futures.
