Pay: £235.00 per day Job Description: Orbitech Recruitment are currently looking for Steel Fixers to join our reputable client based in North Lincolnshire. The duties of a Steel fixer Include:
- Assemble the steel components required to strengthen and reinforce concrete structures such as bridges, reservoirs, etc.
- You will work as a team to position, assemble and fix different shapes and sizes of steel rebar to the correct specifications.
- Cut, bend and connect reinforcing steel.
- Apply general workplace health and safety requirements when undertaking tasks.
- Plan and undertake work practise productively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Knowledge of working with concrete.
- Previous steel fixing experience.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Previous use of power tools and machinery.
