Management Accountant

We're recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temp‑to‑perm basis to join a growing business based on the Birmingham Business Park. This is a hands‑on role supporting the day‑to‑day finance function, with strong exposure to operational reporting and senior stakeholders, and a clear opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts , including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts , working closely with operational managers
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close duties
• Cashflow reporting and support with working capital management
• Analysis of operational and logistics costs to support decision‑making
• Supporting year‑end and audit processes as required
• Identifying and improving finance processes and controls
