Teaching Assistant

Reigate Grammar School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join its Learning Support Department from September 2026.

The successful candidate will support students with a range of additional learning needs through classroom, small-group and one-to-one support, helping them to develop confidence, independence and achieve their full potential.

SAFEGUARDING

This role will involve contact with children. Reigate Grammar School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
