IT Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Department plays a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of academic, administrative, and technical teams, ensuring effective and ethical use of resources across a dynamic environment.
As an interim IT Procurement Specialist, you will provide professional and executive procurement support, managing end-to-end procurement for major equipment, works, goods, and services. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement priorities, oversee supplier performance and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement strategy. Responsibilities include spend analysis, supplier relationship management, contract management, and supporting the implementation of streamlined, compliant procurement processes.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of UK public sector procurement (Scotland preferred)
- Experience of working in a large organisation
- Ability to work at pace
- Commercial acumen
- Report writing skills
- Project management
- Excellent stakeholder management
