Tax Lawyer

An internationally established law firm is looking to strengthen its Tax practice in Munich and is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join its ambitious and growing team. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work on complex domestic and international tax matters within a highly international environment.

The team advises national and international clients on the tax aspects of M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations and the tax-efficient structuring of ongoing business operations. Its work covers both domestic and international tax law, as well as the tax structuring of real estate transactions, real estate financing and VAT issues arising in supply chains and value chains. The practice offers exposure to sophisticated cross-border matters and close collaboration with colleagues across offices and practice areas.

Your Profile:

• Relevant professional experience in tax law would be advantageous, together with a clear ambition to take the next step in your career.
• Excellent academic results in both German State Examinations in Law.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, combined with a flexible, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, a high level of commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• An interest in innovative technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, generative AI and technology-enabled automation solutions.
• Additional qualifications, such as a doctorate, an LL., a specialist tax law qualification or a German tax adviser qualification, would be advantageous but are not essential.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and an interest in working on complex domestic and international tax matters.
