Events and Marketing Assistant - Legal Advisory

A fast-growing, specialist advisory and intelligence business is looking for a highly capable Temporary Events & Marketing Assistant to join its small, fast-paced London team.

The role will initially support the delivery of a major international event taking place in India in November, with responsibility spanning event logistics, sales administration, marketing and general project support. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Core hours are 9:30 - 6pm.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of a major 400-person international event
• Managing event and sales data, mail merges and sales logs
• Supporting delegate and event sponsor sales and client management
• Liaising with venues, suppliers and other external stakeholders
• Managing website content and supporting organic LinkedIn activity
• Producing and updating presentations, reports and other marketing materials
• Providing wider administrative and project support to a busy team

The ideal candidate:

• Must have 2+ years experience in corporate events/marketing, in a sales environment ideal 
• Must have experience at running an international event within the corporate sector
• Must be highly organised, detail-oriented and exceptionally resourceful
• Can work independently and confidently manage upwards
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Has strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Has experience with HubSpot and document management/workflow systems such as HighQ
• Is familiar with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude
• Design/Adobe experience would be advantageous
• Has a degree or equivalent level of education
