Commercial Litigation Lawyer – Urgent Requirement

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority on an urgent basis, working on a high-profile and complex litigation matter. This role is for three months initially.

The Role

This position will play a key role in a significant litigation case, involving:

• Leading on disclosure and investigation exercises
• Working closely with internal police investigators
• Drafting comprehensive witness statements
• Supporting pre-litigation processes, including document review, enquiries, and evidence gathering

This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and complex information.

Key Requirements

• Proven Commercial Litigation experience
• Strong experience in:
• Drafting witness statements
• Handling disclosure processes
• Conducting investigations and enquiries
• Managing pre-litigation steps

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including investigative teams
• Availability to start immediately or at very short notice

Additional Information

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact matter within a collaborative and professional environment. You must hold a current practising certificate. The role is hybrid so candidates must be able to work in the London office a couple of days a week.
