Premises Officer - caretaker/handyperson experience required
We are seeking to appoint a Premises Officer who can turn their hand to a wide range of practical maintenance tasks, uses initiative to solve problems, and takes pride in finding effective solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, respond positively to changing priorities, and consistently maintain high standards across all aspects of the school site. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic. Alongside maintenance and repair work, every member of the Premises Team is expected to undertake routine operational duties including recycling management, assembly set-ups, responding to spillages and other day-to-day tasks that keep the school running smoothly. Every task is an important part of maintaining a safe, welcoming and professional environment. All duties must be carried out in accordance with the School's Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Serviced by great train, underground and bus transport links (Northern line, Piccadilly line and New Barnet (overground) station are all within walking distance).

May 2026 Ofsted inspection recognised that: 'Pupils know the high expectations leaders have of them. They consistently demonstrate positive attitudes towards their work and achieve well. Pupils are polite and courteous to staff and visitors. Staff and pupils enjoy harmonious relationships. Pupils know that staff care for them. Facilities
The state-of-the-art school building which was opened in September 2010 incorporates extensive grounds, modern outside sports facilities, excellent IT provision and contemporary dining areas, with our Sixth Form Cafe, now proudly serving Costa Coffee (which is also available to staff).
