We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated Product Merchandising Intern to join the Merchandising team, in London Head Office for 6 months to learn and develop skills within Retail Product Merchandising.
Responsibilities of the Merchandising Intern:
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for all product categories.
- Monitor and analyse the business sales performances.
- Support store stock requests and rebalance stock depending on the store's performance.
- Deliver relevant feedback on consolidation.
- Retail support to increase the sales turnover.
- Implementation of action plan.
- Prepare support material for buying sessions (sales reports, forecasting tools and presentation for Store Managers).
- Prepare newsletter for the stores (product focus, challenge, VM, training).
- Follow up on transfers requests between the EMEA and the UK.
What Dior is looking for:
- Strong understanding of retail business operations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Quick adaptation to a new software/system.
- Time management skills, committed, flexible, self-motivated.
- Can work full-time 40 hours per week
- Available for 6 months at least
- The right to work in the UK.
