School Business Manager - High Performing School - Brighton
A well-regarded secondary school in Brighton is seeking an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager (SBM) to lead key business functions and support the smooth, compliant running of the school. About the Role
As School Business Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, premises and wider school operations. Responsibilities typically include:
Budgeting, forecasting, monitoring spend and reporting
Procurement and contract management to ensure value for money
Overseeing office systems and operational efficiency
Supporting HR administration processes and staffing structures
Managing premises, health & safety and compliance
Ensuring policies, procedures and records are up to date and audit-ready
Line managing support staff and maintaining high service standards
