Our client is recruiting for a motivated and confident Business Development Manager to join a leading automotive group and develop strong relationships with businesses across the local area.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a prestigious automotive brand while helping business customers find the right vehicle and finance solutions to support their operations.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with local companies.
You will manage the complete B2B sales journey, from prospecting and generating new leads through to closing deals and ensuring a seamless customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local business customers
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively build your sales pipeline
- Manage the complete B2B sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery
- Understand each customer's individual requirements and provide tailored vehicle and finance solutions
- Develop your knowledge of the brand's product range, business leasing options, and insurance products
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and performance targets
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all sales activity is recorded effectively
- Deliver a professional, consultative, and customer-focused experience throughout the sales journey
About You

- Experienced in automotive sales, ideally with a background in B2B, fleet, or business development
- A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Able to identify opportunities and convert enquiries into long-term customer relationships
- Target-driven, commercially aware, and motivated by achieving results
- Organised and able to manage a busy pipeline of prospects and customers
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of their performance
- Professional, trustworthy, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Someone who takes pride in representing a respected automotive brand
