As ECT English Teacher , you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 , delivering a well-sequenced curriculum that develops strong reading, writing and oracy skills. You will be supported to plan lessons that:

• Build reading confidence through explicit teaching of comprehension and inference

• Develop analytical thinking through structured discussion and close language analysis

• Improve writing through modelling, shared writing and purposeful practice

• Strengthen vocabulary, grammar and sentence fluency across year groups

Students study a range of engaging texts including novels, plays and poetry, while developing the core GCSE skills of comparison, interpretation and extended argument.
