IQVIA seeks a Senior Director of Medical Strategy with obesity and endocrinology expertise to provide strategic medical guidance across the clinical development lifecycle. The role combines independent proposal development, client advisory services, and thought leadership within a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic proposals independently and lead proposal defense meetings with clients
- Serve as medical director and subject matter expert throughout clinical trials and R&D lifecycle
- Formulate clinical development plans and lead strategic direction of Center of Excellence
- Consult on standalone customer solutions and early engagement opportunities
- Participate in thought leadership activities across the organization
Requirements
- MD or terminal degree with training in obesity or endocrinology
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or CRO settings
- At least 5 years in pharma/CRO with senior strategic leadership role
- Board certification in relevant therapeutic area
- Exceptional business acumen and organizational thought leadership capability
- Practical knowledge of R&D process execution and project management
