We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD children’s residential home in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a small, therapeutic service and make a genuine, lasting impact on the lives of young people.
The Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day leadership and management of a 4-bed EBD home
- Ensuring high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed care
- Leading, supporting, and developing a dedicated staff team
- Maintaining full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements
- Managing safeguarding, care planning, and placement stability
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Working closely with external professionals and senior leadership
- Has experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager
- Has strong knowledge of EBD and therapeutic residential care
- Is confident leading inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance
- Holds (or is working towards) the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
- Is passionate, resilient, and committed to positive outcomes for young people
- Salary between £50,000 – £55,000
