An instantly recognisable retail brand is currently seeking a VAT Manager to take control of EMEA VAT matters. This is a rare opportunity within a highly sought after company, situated within a small but respected tax team. You will gain insight to the inner workings of the group along with fantastic international exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the group’s entire VAT compliance
- End-to-end management of the VAT process, identifying possible areas for improvement
- System development and improvement
- Answering group queries on VAT
Requirements:
- Proven experience of VAT compliance and accounting
- Up-to-date knowledge of current and future VAT legislation
- Experience with a systems implementation would be beneficial (but not required)
- An energetic and adaptable mindset is essential
