Protocol Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a friendly and supportive school in Chelmsford on a maternity cover basis from mid-September until October half term .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating an engaging learning environment for pupils.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
