About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Opiate Recovery Worker to join a community-based Substance Misuse service in Lewisham . This is an immediate start opportunity , working with individuals affected by opiate dependency to support their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of service users with opiate dependency
Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored recovery plans
Deliver structured one-to-one interventions and harm reduction advice
Support service users through treatment, including prescribing pathways where appropriate
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
Requirements
Previous experience working within substance misuse services , particularly with opiate caseloads
Strong understanding of harm reduction and recovery-focused approaches
Excellent communication and caseload management skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Essential
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Availability for an immediate start
