DT Technician – Maintain Laser Cutters, 3D Printers, and CAD/CAM Systems – Lewisham
A technology-focused secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a highly skilled DT Technician specializing in Digital Fabrication and CAD/CAM systems from January 2026.
DT Technician (CAD/CAM Specialist) required from January 2026.
Lewisham-based school with modern technology workshops (North).
Seeking a technical expert to maintain and support laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC machinery .
You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and safe operation of all digital manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting software issues, training staff and students on equipment usage, and managing the specialized materials (filaments, acrylics).
Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience operating and maintaining professional-grade CAD/CAM machinery .
Strong knowledge of 2D Design, Fusion 360, or similar design software .
Excellent understanding of workshop safety, particularly related to digital equipment.
Practical skills in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on specialized DT hardware.
